Living in a foreign place all by your lonesome can be a daunting thought. Two years now, I've hung on thanks to the good friends that I found here in Milan (piuttosto per te, stella!). AT Pier's house, my new roommate, RO (ROland Culler, New York City dancer, choreographer, gym instructor, artist, cook all in one) and i had our first house party for some of his friends!
The gents were all dashing and oh so very sweet!
(By order of arrival at the house, hope i get it right
1. Orietta. She even arrived earlier than Ro himself!
Such a lovely woman! And her son's name is Pier as well!!! I can tell she's the coolest mother!
2. Alessia and her man! AT first, she seemed so right dainty 
but she's a real mixer, this one! I love her laugh!
(Reminded of those "Janice" days! guffaw!)
3. Sabina and Maurizio 
and Antonio. I just looked at her and thought, "She's the sweetest!" And i hear, a damn good photographer too!

And Mr. Antonio! He didn't know he was the cutest guy at the party, but i think he's catching on! Furbetto! Ma piu di quella faccia belissima, c'e un cuore grandissimo!
4. Reno. Big guy from Naples. Lives right up the block.
5. Chiara and Michele.
She was at me all night, saying "I don't look good in pictures!"
But I think she is a beautiful woman and some part of her has to know that!

Yuri and Max. Yuri came into the room, with that big smile on his face, greeting me by my name like we've been friends for years. He is this amazing person with the biggest smile and the biggest heart. I loved taking photos of him! Everybody thought Max was cute.

at the party was more silent than I generally am?!?
8. Ari and Max. And here i thought they were two lovebirds, all nestled in their love couch. Turns out they're just the best of friends. 
9. Mario and Massimo. Mario's like a little big kid. 
10. Daniela and Marco. I don't know. They were pretty caught up in each other. Didn't really have a chance to talk to them.
11. Bailey. He says we're the Dreamgirls.
And i know for sure Ro's Beyonce so that makes him Miss J Hudson.
Can I just be one of the extras?!? Bailey's just got a beautiful aura. I hope he sticks in Italy for quite a while. ANd i can't wait to meet Nicole!
We probably broke out three cases of wine (all gifts from our very generous guests!) and ate our way through the Asian-Continental-Mediterranean spread that was topped by Ro's FAB-i say -FABBB-U-LOUSSS lasagne!!! Till the next one!
Oh and guys, remember! The lift can only take three people!!!
